Japanese Dagashi-ya, Dagashi shop
Dagashi-ya was a shop which aimed to sell sweets, dagashi and toys to children, and was commonly seen in towns and villages before the 1980s in Japan.
Nowadays, there are few dagashi-ya stores that used to be in Japan.
Most of the recent dagashi-ya are in the shopping mall like in the picture.
