Kappaebisen is a Japanese snack made with a flavor of shrimp and one of the most popular snacks in Japan.
Since 1964, kappaebisen has been loved by Japanese children and adults for a long time.
Kappa is a cute Japanese monster living in a pond. Ebi is shrimp in Japanese. Sen means Japanese senbei.
Kappaebisen is a comibination of those words.
Japanese children love kappaebisen, and they always bring it for school trips or camping.
There are various flavors of Kappaebisen though this one shown in the picture is the original and the most popular one.
Whole shrimp in the shell! is mashed in Kappaebisen and so it's delicious.
That's also why it contains calcium.
