Zenzai is a Japanese sweet, wagashi made by stewing azuki beans with sugar.
It is often served with mochi (rice cake), shiratama dango (rice-flour dumplings) and candied chestnuts.
It's delicious to add baked mochi to zenzai.
It is Japanese style to eat it with green tea and shio konbu salted kelp.
